Natasha & Rhys: Summer Isle of Wight Wedding

The stunning summer Landguard Manor Wedding of Natasha and Rhys in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.

We started the bright, summer September day with Natasha and her bridal party. It was a lovely quiet preparation with Natasha, her sister, who had travelled all the way over from Canada and her mum.

A beautifully intimate church wedding followed at the All Saints Church in Ryde. A magnificent landmark church, sometimes referred to as the “cathedral” of the Island. Summer weddings are a lot more flexible with timings due to the extended hours of light and we used this our advantage with a relaxed couple session as we arrived at the brilliant Landguard manor wedding venue.

Landguard Manor House is a charming and historic wedding venue located on the Isle of Wight. This stunning venue offers an idyllic setting for couples who are looking for a romantic and intimate wedding celebration. With its elegant Georgian architecture and picturesque grounds, Landguard Manor House is the perfect place for couples who want to exchange vows surrounded by natural beauty and timeless elegance.

The venue offers a range of options for couples, including both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations. The beautiful walled garden provides a tranquil and private space for outdoor ceremonies, while the elegant drawing room is perfect for indoor ceremonies. The venue also offers a range of reception spaces, including a marquee which can accommodate up to 120 guests.

One of my favourites shots from the session is above in the header. A natural, romantic portrait of Natasha and Rhys as they shared a moment together with the sun peaking through. A combination of luck and being in the right place at the right time.

A Summertime Isle of Wight Wedding

Landguard Manor Wedding Venue is located in a 4.5 acres area of quiet and tranquil surroundings, making the ideal venue for a wedding in the Isle of Wight region, all enhanced by superb facilities, outstanding services and delicious food that will impress you and your guests.

Natasha & Rhys decided against a more ‘formal’ wedding reception with a sit down meal and table plan, and instead opted for a buffet style meal. I must say this was a lovely alternative and fit with the couples vision and feel of the day.

The wedding festivities continued in the warm September evening with everyone enjoying the entertainment and drinks late into the night.

I would like to wish Natasha and Rhys all the very best in the future. There were a few serious obstacles to overcome in the build up to the wedding involving the dress and church but Natasha and Rhys still pulled off the wedding they dreamed of. They are truly one of the nicest couples I’ve met over the last few years and deserve all the luck in the world.
