Sasha and Nick’s Winter Wedding at Northbrook Park: A Magical Day Captured

In December, I had the pleasure of photographing Sasha and Nick’s winter wedding at the beautiful winter Northbrook Park Wedding of Sasha and Nick, set in the stunning surroundings of the Northbrook Park Wedding Venue in the Hampshire countryside near Farnham.

An intriguing enquiry right from the get-go as Sasha and Nick suggested we meet at a place I’d been trying to get into for years! The famous Soho House in London. Within a couple of moments of meeting them, I knew we’d be a great fit. Sasha and Nick had a very particular and stylish vision for their big day, which should be instantly evident from the photos below.

I was delighted as ever to be joined by David from the brilliant Rideout Films at this Northbrook Park wedding.

We started the glorious December day with the groom preparation before moving over to cover the girls getting ready. As I’ve said before it’s a real advantage having Bridal and Groom preparation at the same venue, it’s great to switch from one to the other to give a great story of what’s happening. A wonderfully emotive and captivating ceremony followed by the always fun sparkler exit. We then headed outside for some outdoor portraits.

Despite the cold weather, Sasha and Nick were true troopers, braving the chilly temperatures. As with most winter weddings, time can be a challenge. Luckily we managed to allocate a bit of time following the ceremony to get out and capture some of the all-important couple shots. These images are some of my favourites from the year and I’m absolutely delighted with this one below particularly. We got lucky with the momentary stunning sunset and a dash of the lightest rain I’ve ever known! Perfect.

The reception was a lively affair, with guests dancing, laughing, and enjoying the festivities. The speeches were heartfelt and emotional, with family and friends sharing stories and memories of Sasha and Nick. We captured the speeches on film and in photographs, ensuring that the memories of the day would last a lifetime.

One of the highlights of the night was Sasha and Nick’s first dance. The couple danced with the twinkling lights of the venue creating a magical atmosphere. I captured the moment below ensuring that the memories of the day would be preserved forever.

Throughout the night, we captured candid moments, from guests laughing and dancing to Sasha and Nick stealing a quiet moment together. We worked seamlessly together, ensuring that we captured every moment from different angles and perspectives.

As the night came to a close, we captured the couple’s final moments, as they bid goodbye to their guests and left the venue hand in hand. It was a beautiful moment, filled with love and joy, and we felt honored to have been there to capture it all.

I wish the happy couple all the best for their future together, and I am honored to have been a part of their love story.

Kind Words:

Matt was absolutely fantastic, right from our first meeting we knew that he was the prefect fit. Made us both feel so comfortable on the day and for someone who isn’t keen on having their photo taken (me) it was actually really enjoyable. More so he captures the day so well and his attention to detail is exactly what you want. Some how he manages all this by staying completely calm and at no point do you realise that he is there (I mean that in a nice way). He’s also a great chap to have there on the day, we couldn’t recommend him more highly! Thanks so much!!
