Important Wedding Photographer Questions
We’ve just filled out your enquiry form, what happens now?
First, I’ll check my calendar. If I’m available for your date, I will send you a link to book a quick video call. This is a great chance for us to say hello, discuss your plans, and make sure we are a good fit before you commit to anything.
Can we talk before we book you?
Yes of course! I always like to chat with couples before taking any booking as it’s a great opportunity to share your vision for the day and to also ensure we’re a good fit. Most couples arrange a chat via Google Meet via this my Calendly HERE
Shall we do confetti?
Yes, just yes. It’s a great shot and one of my favourite images to take.

What time do you stay until?
One of the more common wedding photographer questions. I don’t set any sort of time constraints or hours for a wedding day. Every wedding is different and I want to ensure I’m there to capture everything I need to tell the full story. I like to arrive early to capture the bridal and grooms preparation all the way up until the dancing in the evening. Some of my favourite images come from late-night dance-floor action!

Can you hold a date?
To lock your date into my diary, I require a signed online contract and a £500 booking retainer. Once those are done, the date is exclusively yours. The remaining balance isn’t due until 30 days before the wedding.
What comes with your Full Day Package?
I never like to promise a certain number of photos, however, in 2024 the average number of final images I delivered to each couple was well over 800. 50 Fully edited ‘Sneak Peak’ photos the day after the wedding to wake up to. Fully processed, High-Resolution Images, All Travel and Accommodation in the UK, a Password-Protected Online Gallery, Unlimited downloads for you and all your guests, a mixture of colour and black & white images and perfectly sized images to share on social media.
Are you insured?
Yes, by the UK’s leading photographic insurance company PhotoGuard. I have £5m Public Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance for every eventuality.
Is there a contract?
Yes, I use the leading Studio Management Software from which you’re given your own portal. From here you can make payments, sign the contract, answer questionnaires that I send and add files and photos. Everything in one easy place.
Do you take formal/family group photos?
Another very common wedding photographer question! Yes, in fact, I recommend you take a few (around 8-10 combinations maximum) To ensure the smooth running of this I ask for a list of the images you want in one of the questionnaires I send out nearer the wedding. If you’re looking for a photographer to take an extensive list of formal, structured group shots I’m probably not the one you want.

Do you also do videography?
No, but I recommend some of the very best there are over at my ‘Recommended Wedding Suppliers’ page.
Do you take Credit/Debit Cards
Yes, payment can be made via Credit & Debit Cards or via Direct Bank Transfer
Are you good with Photoshop?
Yes, very.
