Most wedding photography prices hide behind packages. Mine don’t. Here is what £2,500 actually buys, itemised, because you deserve to see the receipt.

The “extras” column is what those items typically cost as add-ons across the UK wedding photography market. I don’t sell add-ons. A second photographer, albums and film are the only things priced separately, because not every wedding needs them.

Is that per hour?
Morning prep to the dancefloor, however long that takes. Nobody has ever been charged for the overrun, because my wedding photography prices are not sold by the hour.
What do these wedding photography prices not include?
A second photographer (£400) and albums are quoted separately because most weddings don’t need them. Everything else is in.
How many photos do these wedding photography prices get you?
Hand-finished, the whole day. Plus 100+ the next morning, so you’re not waiting weeks to see anything.
We hate having our photo taken.
Nothing is posed, and I never hand out a shot list. Three times in the day I’ll borrow you for fifteen minutes — after the ceremony, before dinner and at sunset — and even then it’s mostly walking, talking and ignoring me. The rest of the day I’m somewhere behind you. The couples who say this at the first call are the ones who message me afterwards saying they forgot I was there.
Do wedding photography prices change if you travel?
Abroad is £3,250 all in for Europe, flights and two nights in the price.
What if it rains?
Some of the best photographs on this site are wet. Umbrellas, doorways, windows. The day is the day, and my wedding photography prices do not change for weather.
How do we book?
Balance 30 days before. Contract signed online, plain English, insured, and a backup plan if I’m ever ill.
How far ahead do you book?
I’m taking bookings for 2027 and 2028 now, and 2026 is nearly full. If your date is further out than that, ask anyway — I’d rather pencil you in than have you settle.
Why so simple?
Most wedding photography prices are built as three tiers so the middle one looks sensible. Nearly 1,000 weddings taught me every couple wants the same thing: all of it. So that’s the only thing I sell.

Timings move with your ceremony time; this is the shape of most of the weddings I photograph, and every hour of it sits inside my wedding photography prices.
Getting ready
I arrive while the coffee is still hot. Both sides if they are within reach of each other: the dress in the light, the cufflinks, the card you swap before the make-up artist leaves.

Quietly, from the sides, every reaction. I don’t direct any of this; I just make sure I’m in the right place when it happens.

Fifteen minutes while your guests are walked round to drinks. Just married, still buzzing, nobody notices you’ve gone.

What happens after you say yes to these wedding photography prices
By card or transfer. It comes off the £2,500 and I turn away every other enquiry for that day.
The remaining £2,000. No surprises, no add-ons.
Through my client portal, with a copy sent to you. Cancellation terms are set out clearly in it.
Full public liability and professional indemnity, carried inside the wedding photography prices rather than added to them. Certificate on request for your venue.
In nearly 1,000 weddings it hasn’t happened. If it ever did: a replacement of the same standard, subject to your approval, or a refund.
Within 16 weeks at the latest, usually sooner. Online for 12 months with unlimited downloads for you and your guests, at no cost beyond the wedding photography prices above.
£400 if you would like one. Worth it for 200+ guests or two locations; not needed for most weddings.
