My approach is documentary — I'm there to observe, anticipate and capture, not to direct. For most of the day you won't know I'm shooting.
That said, I'm not invisible. Where a little guidance helps — finding the light for portraits, a quiet word before the first dance — I'll offer it. Gently, briefly, and then I'm gone again. The photographs look natural because the moments were.
Devon is extraordinarily varied — dramatic Atlantic coastline, wild Dartmoor moorland, rolling hills and ancient estates. Every wedding here looks completely different. That's exactly why I love shooting here.

Tunnels Beaches
A private beach reached through hand-carved tunnels in the Ilfracombe cliffs. Ceremony on the sand, Atlantic waves as your backdrop. One of the most dramatic and intimate wedding settings in England.
Bovey Castle
A grand Edwardian castle on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. 275 acres of moorland estate, a championship golf course, and interiors that feel genuinely grand without being stuffy.
Dartington Hall
A medieval great hall set within 1,200 acres of gardens and woodland in the South Hams. Ceremony in the Great Hall or outdoors in the tilting yard — one of Devon's most characterful venues.
Rockbeare Manor
A beautiful Georgian manor house near Exeter with extensive gardens, a walled kitchen garden, and a wonderfully relaxed approach. Up to 150 guests, exclusive use.
The Barn at Upcote
A stunning converted barn in the Devon countryside with exposed beams, stone walls and natural light. Rustic, warm, and full of character — perfect for couples who want something genuine.
Shilstone
A privately owned Georgian house on the southern edge of Dartmoor. Wildflower meadows, walled gardens, and an atmosphere that feels genuinely unhurried. Exclusive use for up to 120 guests.
