What a Deer Park Country House wedding photographer is working with

Deer Park Country House near Honiton is an elegant Georgian house set in 80 acres of East Devon countryside, hired exclusively so the house and grounds are private for your wedding.

It takes up to 190 guests for the ceremony and dinner and 250 for a standing reception, with 32 bedrooms for around 60 guests to stay.

A Georgian house, 80 acres and nobody else there but your people.

Photographing a Deer Park wedding

With 80 acres there is no shortage of places for portraits, but I keep walks short so you are back with your guests quickly. The house itself has lovely period rooms with good window light.

Because so many guests can stay, the whole weekend feels relaxed, which makes for natural documentary photos.

How I photograph a Deer Park Country House wedding

Deer Park Country House gives you 80 private acres and a Georgian house full of guests. A Deer Park Country House wedding photographer here needs a plan for the big moments and the quiet ones in between.

As your Deer Park Country House wedding photographer I keep group photographs quick on a busy day with a large guest list, and use the parkland for short portraits away from the crowd.
