A note on the photos: I have not photographed a wedding at Saunton Sands Hotel yet, so as your Saunton Sands Hotel wedding photographer I am showing pictures from other weddings of mine. When I photograph one here, they will be replaced.

What a Saunton Sands Hotel wedding photographer is working with

Saunton Sands Hotel sits above Saunton Sands near Braunton, one of the longest beaches in North Devon, with views across the bay.

It takes up to 150 for a ceremony, including outdoor ceremonies in the garden, and up to 220 for a seated dinner. The whole hotel can be booked for exclusive use, so everyone can stay.

Photographing a Saunton Sands wedding

The beach is the star: wide, open and west-facing, so sunset portraits here are something special. I keep them short so you are back with your guests quickly.

Inside, the hotel is bright with big sea-facing windows, which is lovely for natural photos of the speeches.

How I photograph a Saunton Sands Hotel wedding

Saunton Sands Hotel sits above one of North Devon’s longest beaches, so a Saunton Sands Hotel wedding photographer has miles of sand for portraits and sea views from almost every window.

As your Saunton Sands Hotel wedding photographer I photograph a garden ceremony with the bay behind you, and save ten minutes on the beach for sunset.

Planning your Saunton Sands Hotel wedding photography

Keep twenty minutes free before sunset for the beach, and bring flat shoes for the sand. Check the tide so we know how much beach there will be.

Yes, ceremonies can be held in the garden as well as inside.

How much is a Saunton Sands Hotel wedding photographer?

It is £2,000 for the whole day, with nothing added on: no hour limits, at least 800 edited photos, a first set of 100+ the next morning, drone shots where the venue allows and an online gallery to share. UK travel is included, so there is no travel charge for Devon.

We hate having our photo taken. Is that a problem?

Not at all, you are in good company: most of my couples feel the same. I give a little direction when it helps and let everything else happen naturally.
