What a Huntsham Court wedding photographer is working with

Huntsham Court is a grand Victorian Gothic house near Tiverton, on the edge of Exmoor, with five acres of gardens and the village church on the driveway. It is hired exclusively, and up to 100 guests can stay across more than forty bedrooms.

Weddings take up to 130 guests, with ceremonies in the house, outside or in the church. It is dry hire, so you bring your own caterers and drinks, which makes every wedding here feel different.

A huge old house, everyone staying, and a whole weekend to enjoy it.

Photographing a Huntsham Court wedding

The house is full of character: big staircases, wood panelling and tall windows. It is a gift for documentary photography, with something happening in every room over a weekend.

Outside, the gardens and the lane to the church give you quiet places for portraits, and the Devon countryside all around.

How I photograph a Huntsham Court wedding

Huntsham Court is a big Victorian Gothic house with the village church on its driveway. A Huntsham Court wedding photographer has a lot to work with: staircases, panelled rooms and a short walk between church and house.

As your Huntsham Court wedding photographer I walk up from the church with you and your guests, and because it is dry hire every wedding here looks different, so I photograph your own styling, food and people rather than a set formula.

Planning your Huntsham Court wedding photography

If you are getting married in the church on the driveway, allow time for everyone to walk back up to the house. Two-day weddings here are common, and I am happy to talk through covering the day before.
