The lawn, and the hour before dark
Golden hour here is long and low, and it is the part of the day worth defending in your timings.
Ten minutes outside when the light drops, no shot list, and you are back with your guests before anyone notices you left.

How I work a day here
Nothing is posed. I photograph the day as it actually happens, from close enough to hear the joke and far enough not to be in it.
Silent shutter all day and no flash until the dancefloor, so the ceremony and the speeches stay undisturbed.
Late on, in the grounds.
Sparklers. Tell me in advance and I will be in the right place.
