What a Braxted Park wedding photographer is working with
Braxted is the venue I have photographed more than almost any other, and the reason is simple: there is more of it than you can use in a day. Parkland, a lake, a walled garden, brick gatehouses and an avenue — and all of it within a few minutes’ walk.
That matters because it means your photographs at six in the evening look nothing like the ones at two in the afternoon, without anyone getting in a car.
More than a hundred weddings here and I still find somewhere I have not photographed before.
The walk, and the twenty minutes worth protecting
The best frames here are almost never near the house. Ten minutes towards the lake late in the day is worth more than an hour on the lawn, and it costs your guests almost nothing.
I am a recommended supplier here, so I know how long that walk actually takes and can build it into your timings before the day rather than during it.

How I work a day here
Nothing is posed. I photograph the day as it happens and stay out of the way while I do it, which after more than a hundred weddings on this site is not difficult.
Silent shutter all day and no flash until the dancefloor.
Nobody was asked to do that.
Once the floor fills, I stop directing anything at all.
