A former dairy farm with its own valley on the edge of the moor, 360-degree views, and enough beds that forty-odd people can stay put for three days.
What a Green Cornwall wedding photographer is working with
The old milking parlour is the wedding barn now. There is an oak arbour looking straight down the valley for outdoor ceremonies, a red brick barn for dinner, and cottages and farmhouse rooms around the yard, which is why so many couples turn it into a long weekend rather than a day.
What makes it unusual is the isolation. There is very little else in sight, so the valley, the light and your guests are the whole frame. No car park in the background, no neighbouring building to work around.
Some venues make you work for the pictures. The Green hands them to you.
The valley, and where the light goes
The arbour faces down the valley, which means an outdoor ceremony in the late afternoon has the sun behind it rather than in everyone’s eyes.
I am based in Cornwall, so I can walk the site before your day rather than on it, and tell you what the light will actually be doing at your ceremony time.

Why Cornwall is £2,000
I moved home to Cornwall this year and I am building a new body of work in the county as a Cornwall wedding photographer. Cornish weddings are priced lower than the rest of my diary while I do that, and nothing is taken out to get there — same hours, same number of images, same everything.
It is a straightforward trade: you get the work at less than it will cost later, and I get a portfolio in the place I now live.

I have moved home to Cornwall and I am building new work here. The rate is lower while I do that, and nothing has been taken out of it.
