Exclusive use, which changes a day more than most couples expect. Nobody is waiting for you to finish with a room, nothing runs to another wedding’s schedule, and there is no point in the day where you are being moved along. The photographs are quieter for it.
The barn takes the ceremony and the evening — timber, drapes and fairy lights, and warm enough after dark that the first dance needs nothing from me. Outside there are fields in every direction and a track that runs away from the buildings, which is where the best of the light ends up.
Nobody is waiting for you to finish with a room. That is what exclusive use actually buys you.

The track away from the buildings is the whole portrait session — ten minutes, no shot list, nobody posed, and back before anyone notices you left.
I will tell you roughly when that window falls for your date so it sits in the running order rather than being squeezed in around the speeches.

Dogs, and other things worth telling me about
Leanne and Tom’s golden retriever is in roughly every third photograph of their day, which is exactly as it should be. If yours is coming, say so in advance and I will make sure he is in more than the group shot.
Nothing here is posed. Silent shutter all day and no flash until the dancefloor, so the ceremony and the speeches stay undisturbed.
