Villa Bologna’s walled gardens do most of the heavy lifting: shade when you need it, open lawn when you want scale, and architecture that looks good in every direction at every hour. The blue doors are the shot everyone remembers.
It handles big, loud, joyful weddings particularly well. Lakshna and Neil’s Hindu ceremony took place here under a white floral arch, after a baraat that closed the road outside with the Prime Minister’s permission.

Heat, crowds and a procession
A destination day is not harder to photograph, it is just more walking. The heat matters for your timings rather than mine: anything formal before about four in the afternoon will cost you more than it gives you.
I arrive the day before, always. It is a buffer against delays and a chance to walk the gardens in the light I will actually be shooting in.

Flights, two nights and local transfers are inside the £3,250 for any European destination. There is no per-mile charge, no invoice arriving afterwards, and nothing that matters travels in the hold.
Outside Europe the wedding is the same and the price is the same; only the travel changes, and I price that at cost.
