Hyde House sits just outside Stow-on-the-Wold, a Victorian house with a barn beside it, and everything a wedding needs happens in one place. Liana & Nick married there on a Sunday in September 2021: getting ready in the house, the ceremony in the barn, confetti on the lawn and a wedding breakfast with live singers working the room.
I photographed it documentary-style: unposed, quiet, close enough to hear the joke and far enough not to be in it. What follows is the day in the order it happened, from the bridal suite to the last dance.

A Hyde House wedding, bridal suite to dance floor
Liana’s mum read out a card in the bridal suite and that was the end of everyone’s make-up. Then it was across to the barn, where Nick was waiting, and after the ceremony the confetti came out on the lawn and Liana’s laugh said everything. Once the wedding breakfast started the singers came through the tables with the sax player and the dance floor never really emptied.
Hyde House is one of my favourite Cotswolds venues, and there is more about it on my Cotswolds wedding photographer page. One price, £2,500 all in, unlimited hours and travel included. Check your date
