The Great Barn Aynho Wedding Photographer
An 18th-century barn near Banbury with a lake, a cart shed for the ceremony and cottages for the night. Relaxed, documentary photography, £2,500 all in.

A note on the photos: I have not photographed a wedding at The Great Barn Aynho yet, so as your Great Barn Aynho wedding photographer I am showing pictures from other weddings of mine. When I photograph one here, they will be replaced.
What a Great Barn Aynho wedding photographer is working with
The Great Barn sits on the edge of Aynho, a few minutes from Banbury on the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire border. It is an 18th-century barn hired exclusively, so the whole place is yours from nine in the morning until midnight.
Ceremonies are held in the Cart Shed for up to 120, the wedding breakfast seats 120 in the barn, and up to 175 join for the evening. There is a lake in the grounds for photos, a dressing room for getting ready, and three cottages on site that sleep ten.
Old stone, a lake at the bottom of the garden and a barn full of people you love.

Photographing a Great Barn Aynho wedding
The Cart Shed is open and bright, which is lovely for ceremony photos, and the barn itself has big old beams and soft light for the speeches.
The lake is the best spot for portraits: calm, green and a short walk from the drinks reception, so you are not away from your guests for long.

How I photograph a Great Barn Aynho wedding
At the Great Barn the ceremony is in the Cart Shed and the party is in the barn, with a lake in the grounds. A Great Barn Aynho wedding photographer should make use of all three.
As your Great Barn Aynho wedding photographer I take you down to the lake for portraits during the drinks reception and photograph the barn as it fills up for dinner.

Planning your The Great Barn Aynho wedding photography
Keep fifteen minutes free before sunset for a walk down to the lake. With the bar opening an hour before the ceremony, a relaxed drinks reception is a good time for candid photos of your guests.
Just up the road, I photographed Louise and George’s wedding at Primrose Hill Farm near Banbury.

Not unless you want to. Most of the day I simply photograph what happens. I help with the family photos and a couple of short portrait walks, and that is as posed as it gets.
