Ten acres mean you can get far enough back to put the whole house behind you, which is a photograph you simply cannot take at most venues.
The best version of it is late, once the windows are lit. Ten minutes outside then is worth more than an hour in the afternoon.

How I work a day here
Nothing is posed. I photograph the day as it happens and stay out of the way while I do it.
Silent shutter all day and no flash until the dancefloor — which matters more here than almost anywhere, because flash flattens exactly the thing that makes these rooms worth having.
Nobody was asked to stand anywhere.
Once the floor fills, I stop directing anything at all.
